" I just wanted to tell you what a great show we had last week. The attendance was great and show layout and theme was great. It was one of the best End User shows that we have gone too.( and I'm not a big fan of end user shows)

The best new idea you had this year, was doing away with the lead forms that we had to fill out after talking to the end users.. Having the end users have the little notebooks to take notes was the best. And all the people I spoke to( end users) were much happier with this system.. And this system was much better for us suppliers, especially if you were manning your booth by yourself, it gave you more time to talk to all the end users.

Of all the improvements ..... this was the best.

“As a first time exhibitor at the SACDV Show, I was impressed with just about everything. I was particularly pleased with the caliber of end buyers that I was able to educate about our book concept. We know our offering is unique, but it amazed me how many were receptive and eager to see how they could apply books to their marketing efforts. Many stopped by our booth several times, even bringing their industry representative along. Of course there are never any guarantees; although if business is transacted as a result of these discussions, I wouldn’t be surprised.”

The show was wonderful.

I have a recommendation to the Board for next year's show.

I believe that an exhibiting supplier should be allowed to invite up to two distributors who may not be SACDV members. Limit it to two, and individuals, not the entire firm. They cannot bring clients.

Although I understand that this is a distributor member benefit; the primary benefit is the opportunity to bring clients. And sometimes we run across new people who might become a member down the road. I realize that when you have opened the floor in the past, it has not generated new membership. But I am thinking of this as a supplier benefit, too.

Please keep me in the loop, and congratulations again. Your entire Board and show committee deserve the accolades.
